1940-1945. The resistance in the dutch province of Limburg

Dutch-Paris

This Dutch-French network brought many refugees to Switzerland or Spain (final destination Gibraltar). These refugees were mostly Jewish families but also included young men who intended to join the Allied forces in England (the so called Engelandvaarders) and downed Allied airmen. The children of Jean Caubo, who guided the refugees from the Gare du Nord in Paris through the city, did not exchange a word with them but nevertheless knew who they were dealing with. If they were families, they were Jews.
