The fallen resistance people in Limburg

Johannes Vuist
(Johannes Franz)

Johannes Vuist was son of Cornelis Jacobus Vuist (∗ October 10, 1889, Weststellingwerf, † December 04, 1977 Kerkrade) and Martha Czennia [1][2]. His Dutch death certificate was issued in the municipality of Maastricht, his last place of residence [2]. For what he ended up in the Sachsenhausen concentration camp near Oranienburg [3] we do not (yet) know. In any case, Maastrichtsegevelstenen.nl [4] calls him a resistance fighter, and his stay in the Sachsenhausen camp also points in this direction.
