The daily Limburger Koerier carried a New Year’s greeting for 1936 from Café-Restaurant E. HOUGARDY, Trandstraat 14. SITTARD on December 31,1935. [3]
After the war the municipality of Sittard writes: He was taken away by the Germans for resistance [1#2]
Unfortunately, they do not state what for. Therefore, he is listed here in the category of unorganized resistance until we know more.
