Hi,

My earliest Schunck I found is Johann Peter Schunk. Still written without Ck. He was born in Laufersweiler in Hunsrück in 1652 and there he was a local Schöffe (a person who was entrusted with tasks in the jurisprudence but also - since juridical and executive powers were not separate at that time - with administrative tasks).

It continues with Johannes Wilhelm Schunck, * 12/23/1695 in Dill in Hunsrück. His last work was pastor in Traben † 3/10/1762

He had a surviving son, Gottfried Daniel Schunck, born 6/8/1737 in Dill, † 08/16/1801, in Bodensweier near Kehl. There he was pastor. He had 8 surviving children, but I could trace only one of them.

That was Friedrich Georg, born 1/19/1789 in Bodensweier. He was a carpenter had one son and one daughter. † 1848 ?

Georg Friedrich II, ∗ 12/30/1836 in Mainz/
He had three sons and one daughter.

• Margaretha Helene, ∗ 2/11/1938 in Mainz nursing auxiliary

Ernst Ludwig has one son, ∗ 1960 in Mainz.

Via Johann Peter Schunck we are related to those of Corvey and finally to Widukind. But later I can still write that to you.
Gustav Adolf has one son, that’s me.
I do not know where other connections are.
